Information for Parents

LLL Preschool is not a co-op — parents are not required to commit time or become involved in day-to-day school operations. However, we have many opportunities for parental involvement if you so choose. Our Administrative Board, comprised solely of parents, helps with the functioning of the school, plans family activities and fundraising events, and oversees the preparation of the annual school budget. More importantly, parents are welcome in our classrooms at all times. We encourage you to come in to share your child's school experience.

Parent Administrative Board

The Administrative Board is comprised of parents who volunteer, on an annual basis, to carry out the will of the corporation. The Board meets monthly to make decisions concerning the day-to-day operation of the school and school property, under the supervision of the Director. The Board also serves as representatives of LLL Preschool in the community. If you would like more information, please speak with our Director.

Volunteer Opportunities

LLL Preschool encourages parents to be as active in their child's classroom as they'd like. Parents are always welcome in the classroom, and special events can be arranged for parents who wish to participate in reading, music, storytelling or other types of enrichment. Parents in the Pre-K Class will have the opportunity to volunteer in the classroom throughout the school year. Weekly sign-ups are available for parents, grandparents, and caregivers to come into the Pre-K Class and help with project time and snack. A great way to spend time with your Pre-K child at school.
